Welcome to the Salmon Arm Flying Club

The club invites anyone with a passion for aviation to visit and/or join our club. A pilot’s license is not required.

We have a wide variety of members including commercial transport pilots, helicopter pilots, air traffic controllers, bush pilots, aircraft mechanics, private and ultralight pilots, students, and folks just plain interested in flying.

The Club

Formed in 1967, the SAFC played a major role in the creation of the current airport.

The 4500 foot runway allows twin engine Medivac aircraft to service our community. Monthly meetings usually feature a speaker on some aviation topic, from safety procedures to maintenance to personal adventures.
